Things have been relatively quiet around here… and the reason for that was a round of unprecedented health related issues and needing time to re-calibrate. The act of readjusting and realigning is a constant thing that we all experience in our walk with life. When you are managing a chronic illness it becomes your full-time job. I am not complaining because I have so much to be thankful for. No matter how hard I fall, I know that eventually, if I give myself permission to rest, I will come back stronger.
Before I went into hibernation mode, I was able to visit the Icons of Style: A Century of Fashion Photography, 1911-2011 exhibit at the Getty Museum. My creative spirit left feeling incredibly inspired. Image after image I could feel my heart saying: how wonderful, that as human beings we are given the gift of creation. We can create whatever our souls are pushing us to create. We only need to listen, take a leap of faith and trust.
Keep pushing forward with love in your heart.
