Hello my darlings,
I am finally back home and still struggling with a major case of jetlag. Spain (as you will soon see here on the blog) was absolutely magical. Everything about this trip was exactly what my soul had been craving. I can’t wait to share my travel diaries with you! This past weekend I attended a Lupus conference at my alma mater: University of California, Irvine (UCI). It felt amazing to be back at my old stomping grounds. A lot has changed but its beauty is still as vibrant as ever. I remembered a 20-something year old Griselle who was always worried about not passing her classes and not enjoying the moment. Oh how I wish I knew how to meditate back then. Even though I am still faced with countless challenges that Lupus brings, my spirit is stronger than ever. And for that I am entirely humbled and grateful. A big kiddos to Lupus LA for putting together a phenomenal panel.
Here’s to appreciating the moment with all of its imperfections and feeling thankful just to be alive.
