It’s been a little over a month since I cut my longtresses, and truthfully I may never go back to long hair (Sorry, Lorenzo).
It is simply amazing what fresh new locks can do for the mind and soul. The other
day I realized that with every big change in my life, my hair style has often
expressed that change in some way or another. Whether it’s changing up the color
or growing it to hippie lengths, my hair has always been affected by those monumental
shifts.

The older I get, the less I seem to care about what
others may think about me; but rather how I feel about myself. It’s taken me a
long time, but I can wholeheartedly say that I am extremely proud of the life I
lead. I am even more proud of the woman I strive to be every day. I am proud of
all the scars that I carry with me, because those scars validate that I
have always been a fighter. And when it comes down to it a great fighter is
never scared of losing, they are only concerned with showing up and being the
best they can be.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead. Tonight the ladies and I will be attending
Soul Slam LA – Michael Jackson vs. Prince. We attended this event some few years back and an awesome time was had! Be sure to follow me on Snapchat to watch all the madness unfold.

PS.

A special thanks to KUT HAUS SALON for always taking care of
your girl. I drive an hour just to see these guys!
