The recent weather in Los Angeles has been unpredictable to say the least. I was thrilled when the weather obliged and I was finally able to wear this beautiful 1920’s inspired ruffled dress. Lately I’ve been wearing pearls like nobody’s business. I think it has something to do with the timeless sensibility of it all but it also speaks to my obsession with mixing things from the past and making them my own. My style is by no means linear and I am a huge proponent of experimenting with fashion. My one style rule is: only wear things that make you happy. Everything else is debatable. All things aside, this lovely dress puts a smile on my face everytime I wear it. As such it’s quickly become one of my most treasured pieces in my dress collection.
